Abstract
The UK Central Council is soon to begin assessing the impact of one of its most important documents, The Scope of Professional Practice (1). A casual glance at the pages of the professional press shows many examples of initiatives which, while not always explicitly acknowledging the underpinning value of 'the Scope’, appear to have used it as the basis for their development.
