Abstract
Using guinea pigs, the authors found the origin of the large non-cornified and cornified epithelial cells to be the vagina. Small non-cornified epithelial cells, often in clumps and sheets, come from the uterus. Leucocytes arise in considerable quantities from the uterus as well as from the vagina. Mucus arises mainly in the uterus, but may possibly also come from the vagina. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
