Some new transitions in the L emission spectrum of erbium-68

Abstract
A systematic study of the L spectrum of erbium with a 40-cm curved mica crystal spectrograph showed the existence of two new dipole transitions, LIIOI(γ8) λ1343.50 x.u. and LIIINIV(β15) λ1512.74 x.u., and three new forbidden transitions, L1OI λ1276.81 x.u., LIOIV, v λ1268.68 x.u., and LIIOII, III λ1339.81 x.u. The transitions LIIOIV(γ6) and LIIIOIV, V(β5) reported earlier only by Sakellaridis have been confirmed. However, the transition LIMV(β9) reported only by Coster remained unconfirmed.Keywords
