Abstract
We examined 55 patients treated with hemodialysis and found 10 who showed localized chorioretinal degeneration, probably caused by a choroidal vascular disturbance. These changes manifested as a triangular patch, peripapillary or segmental chorioretinal lesions, and localized pigment epithelial alterations on fluorescein angiography. It is possible that chorioretinal complications may be a problem in patients receiving hemodialysis. Keywords
