Estimation of monopole power radiated in a reverberation chamber

Abstract
A monopole source radiates a pure tone. It is desired to estimate the free-field value W0 of its power output from reverberation chamber measurements, in which both source and receiver positions are varied. From the known distribution of values when only the receiver position is varied, the statistics of estimates of W0 are derived.
