Abstract
One approach used by text books to introduce sets is to define a set to be a collection of objects and then to explain that there are two types of sets, finite sets and infinite sets. It will be seen below that unless it is stressed that the two types of sets are fundamentally different, an unfortunate misconception of mathematics could be produced among the pupils.Keywords
