Abstract
An optoisolator used in conjunction with electric probes to measure electric fields in the Polytron plasma is described. Its main features are balanced input and common mode rejection ratio (CMRR) better than 1000:1. Improvements on the present design, as well as possible application of the optoisolator to other plasma diagnostics are discussed. Keywords
