One-loop corrections for polarized deep-inelastic Compton scattering

Abstract
Complete one-loop corrections to large-transverse-momentum direct photon production by a polarized photon beam and polarized target are determined. A prescription for defining polarized quark and gluon density matrices within dimensional regularization is given. K factors and polarization asymmetries are presented. It is shown that γpγ+X, can be used to test our information on the polarized quark and gluon distributions.
