Crohn's Disease and Psoriasis

Abstract
To the Editor: Rosenberg et al. (September 9 issue)1 discussed the accumulating evidence of an association between Crohn's disease and psoriasis. We determined the prevalence of psoriasis in 128 consecutive patients with Crohn's disease who attended our clinic, and compared it with the prevalence in 128 age-matched and sex-matched control subjects. Eleven (8.6 per cent) of the patients with Crohn's disease had psoriasis, as compared with two (1.6 per cent) of the control subjects (P<0.02).
