Abstract
The survival of infants delivered before the completion of the 26th week of gestation or weighing less than 500 g is well known, and there has been an increase in both survival of and quality of life for infants whose birth weight is more than 750 g.1 2 3 Younger and smaller babies, however, have not benefited to the same degree.4 , 5Keywords
