Abstract
A method for closure of wide anterior palatal fistulae with a labiobuccal mucosal island flap introduced to the defect along the nasal floor is described. Five operated cases, of which one was a partial failure, are presented. The operations preferable for various types of fistulae are discussed. Keywords
