Abstract
In a series of 103 normal cerebral angiographies with the contrast medium injected into the internal carotid artery using an exposure rate of 4 films/sec. the posterior communicating artery was demonstrated in 68%, the highest frequency on record. A comparison is made with a previous series where the technique was the same except for an exposure rate of 2 films/sec. The influence of the contrast medium injection on the intra-arterial pressure is discussed and may explain the different results of the 2 studies. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
