Abstract
Copas developed a list of critical require ments for cooperating teachers based on critical incidents observed and reported by elementary student teachers. A total of 1,490 critical behaviors were abstracted from 476 individual responses and were grouped according to content resulting in 28 critical require ments. The requirements were divided into two major categories and several sub-categories. This study identifies concrete behaviors underlying critical requirements for cooperating teachers. Keywords
