Abstract
The amplifier comprises a pair of three-phase 60 Hz, fully controlled rectifiers, back-to-back connected to form a cyclo-convertor. The output voltage may be modulated at any frequency between zero and 50 Hz by means of a low level signal and peak voltages of up to 230 V, and peak currents of up to 30 A can be delivered to a wide variety of active and passive loads. Keywords
