Fatal interaction between tranylcypromine and imipramine

Abstract
This case report describes a patient on tranylcypromine who erroneously received a single dose of imipramine and subsequently developed a fatal serotonin syndrome. Both the clinical features and the pathophysiology of the serotonin syndrome are discussed.Keywords
