Abstract
In an optical code division multiplexed system digital baseband and subcarrier signals have been simultaneously transmitted over the same fibre using spectrally encoded LEDs. Electrical frequency reuse for the subcarrier signals is demonstrated. The insensitivity of the optical multiplexing approach with respect to temperature variations of the transmitters is experimentally proven. Keywords
