Abstract
An optical feedforward compensation circuit for linearisation of analogue modulated semiconductor lasers is described. A reduction in the second harmonic distortion of greater than 14dB and the third-order intermodulation distortion of greater than 10dB over the frequency range 100 MHz- 1.5 GHz is reported.Keywords
