Abstract
Measurements of the response threshold for warming the skin of the face, inner thigh, and footpad of cats show that the face of the cat is only slightly less sensitive than that of humans and that the inner thigh and footpad are insensitive to mild skin warming. Response threshold for cooling the skin of the inner thigh and footpad, as a function of the temperature to which the skin was adapted, are also reported. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
