Modification of the Cyanmethemoglobin Reagent for Analysis of Hemoglobin in Order to Avoid Precipitation of Globulins

Abstract
Rare occurrences of hyperglobulinemia with increased content of easily precipitable globulins may be responsible for erroneously high determinations of hemoglobin when Drablin''s cyanmethemoglobin reagent is used. A slight modification of the reagent overcomes this error.
