Abstract
Summary— The density of cholinergic and of alpha and beta adrenergic receptors was measured in samples of normal and hyper‐reflexic human detrusor muscle. There was a significant reduction in the density of cholinergic receptors and a significant increase in the density of alpha adrenergic receptors in the hyper‐reflexic samples as compared with normal. There was no difference between the two groups in the density of beta adrenergic receptors. This publication has 4 references indexed in Scilit:
