Abstract
There is no inexpensive way to develop or purchase a full-featured executive information system. These are highly sophisticated systems and their cost is beyond the budgets of many organizations. Alternatives are available, however, if an organization is willing to settle for less than a state-of-the-art system. The purpose of this article is to describe some of the alternative strategies available to organizations that want the capabilities of a full-featured system but are constrained from purchasing one because of limited resourcesKeywords
