Abstract
A case report of a congenital scalp defect with distal limb anomalies is presented. Etiology, associated anomalies, treatment, complications, and mortality are reviewed. The presence of prominent scalp veins may be an indication to defer rotation flaps and to obtain immediate coverage with a split-thickness skin graft after excision of the eschar. Keywords
