Abstract
The development of a flexible packaging system for heat-processed foods has been investigated for military application. Materials, package design, bacterial penetration, processing, tests and procedures, shipment and storage, consumer handling, and production capability are discussed. Laminated aluminum/ polyester/ olyolefin was selected as packaging material.Keywords
