Abstract
A coupled-channels model for antinucleon-nucleon () scattering is presented. The channels are coupled to effective two-particle annihilation channels. The neutron-proton mass difference and the Coulomb interaction are taken exactly into account. This model gives a detailed fit to a set of 977 scattering data up to MeV, with an overall . The potentials are found to be long-ranged. A discussion of several experimental data sets and of the influence of the Coulomb interaction is given.
