Abstract
Erosion of the teeth of girls working in an atmosphere containing dust composed of a mixture of tartaric acid, sucrose. MgSO4 and NaHCO3 is descr. Gravimetric analysis of the dust showed an avg. concn. in the shop of 15 mg/cu. m. Spending 30 hrs./week in this concn. which, it is estimated, contained an avg. of 1.1 mg./cu. m. of free tartaric acid, produces clinical erosion of the teeth which may be detectable after an exposure of 6 mos.Keywords
