Abstract
Using a standard mini computer (Varian 620L) and its analog to digital converter, thermograms from a Bofors IR camera were digitized, stored on digital magnetic tape and displayed on an electrostatic plotter. Simple programs are available to enhance this display and to calculate average temperatures in selected rectangular areas. The use of average skin temperatures will be clinically evaluated and an automatic comparison of right and left breast temperatures will be made. These techniques will contribute to removing the subjective element in viewing human breast thermograms. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
