Abstract
The distinction between a diffraction pattern from a periodic dislocation network and double diffraction for a bicryatal with a twist boundary near a coincidence orientation is analysed. It is shown that in most cases certain diffraction spots can only originate from the network, for example in the case of a [100] twist boundary near ∊= 17 investigated by Sass, Tan and Balluffi (1975).Keywords
