Abstract
Measurements of the photoproduction of wide-angle electron pairs from carbon in the energy range 600 to 2000 MeV are reported. The results agree with the predictions of quantum electrodynamics substantially better than the previously reported results, based on part of the data presented here, which showed a discrepancy of 2.3 standard deviations. Keywords
