K¯-nucleus scattering in the isobar-doorway model

Abstract
The isobar-doorway model is formulated for -nucleus scattering. A -nucleus optical potential is derived. Using the closure approximation, binding energies and widths of the and in nuclear matter are obtained from -atomic data and elastic scattering.
