The Southern Ontario Blizzard of January 26 and 27, 1978

Abstract
This paper deals with a vicious winter storm which struck southern Ontario on the morning of January 26, 1978. This storm had the most intense circulation of any on record in this location. In Section 2 the synoptic situation up to and during this storm is described. Section 3 provides climatological pressure and wind data with which to compare the storm. In Section 4 the impact of the storm on Southern Ontario is analysed.
