Abstract
An eight channel stimulation electrode has been developed which can be inserted into the human scala tympani via the round window. This electrode is part of a neuroprosthesis aiming at the restoration of some hearing in cases of sensorineural deafness by electrical stimulation of the auditory nerve. Keywords
