Abstract
The display of heterotypical, i.e., feminine, sexual behavior was studied in adult orchidectomized rats treated with estradiol benzoate and progesterone following exposure to the odor of either male or female urine. The male urine odor suppressed an inhibitory influence of the olfactory bulbs on the heterotypical sexual behavior in the male rat.
