Abstract
Bolton and Qureshi's laboratory experiments on the decay of silver iodide smokes were repeated and it was shown that for dilute smokes the deterioration was very slight and there was no important temperature effect. It is concluded that the coagulation of concentrated smokes used was responsible for the high rates of decay they observed at warm temperatures. Keywords
