Abstract
The results of a two‐year survey on the trace metal concentration in the waters of the Cauvery River for five sampling stations along the river course are presented. The results obtained are evaluated in the light of WHO standards. It has been established that there is an alarming sign of metal contamination in the river. The concentrations of some of the metals were found to be above the WHO standards. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
