Abstract
An apparatus is described by means of which dynamic visual acuity, or the ability to perceive an object when there is relative motion between the observer and the object, can be measured. The system is based on a rotating slide projector (mounted above S's head) by means of which visual acuity targets are projected upon a cylindrical screen. The targets follow a horizontal, linear path at variable speeds. The system also is designed to provide flexibility in the study of the phenomenon of dynamic visual acuity. Keywords
