Abstract
The radiative lifetimes of 6s4P, 6s2P, 5d4D, 5d4F and some 5p Kr II states were obtained using a conventional delay coincidence method with a pulsed electron beam. The lifetimes of 6s2P1/2, 5d4D1/2 and 5d4D3/2 were measured for the firt time. The lifetimes of the upper levels of the transitions used in the He-Kr laser are shorter by factors of between 1.3 and 3.4 than those of the lower levels. Keywords
