Abstract
Trees of apple cv Merton Worcester on M.7 in pots of sand receiving Ca-deficient nutrient solution produced fruit with bitter pit. Autoradiographs of sections through mature fruits provided evidence that 45 Ca, which was fed to the roots in mid-May, accumulated in the pits after the tissues began disintegrating.This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
