Abstract
The geologic structure of the Rallier du Baty peninsula (Kerguelen islands) is characterized by basaltic flows with an andesitic tendency, intruded by a volcano-pluton of quartziferous syenites which metamorphosed the basalt near its contacts. Recent superimposed acid volcanism is present, and fumarolic activity has been noted on the west coast. Keywords
