Abstract
In order to determine whether ferromagnetic or antiferromagnetic exchange coupling would result from alloying the rare earth metals with cobalt or iron, a number of melts were made containing these elements. The data on saturation magnetization with composition and on saturation magnetization with temperature obtained on the cobalt-gadolinium system indicates strongly that antiferromagnetic exchange coupling exists in this system. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
