Abstract
>Extracts from cotton bract and leaf elicit the production of prostaglandins F2α, and E by rabbit alveolar macrophage (AM) in vitro. Alveolar macrophage cultures incubated with aqueous extract for 90 minutes produced more than fifteen times the prostaglandin F2α, in control cultures. A linear relationship was established between cotton bract extract concentration and prostaglandin release by AM.This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
