PRC—pore reduced cement: high-density cement pastes following fluid extraction

Abstract
A high-pressure fluid extraction technique has been applied to very young set cement pastes to produce high-density high-performance products (patent pending). The compressive and tensile strengths of products cured for 28 days after pressing have been of the order of 200 and 20 MPa, respectively. Limited shear strength and elastic modulus data are also presented, and several potential applications for the material are suggested.
