Abstract
We include the lowest-lying octet and decuplet baryons into partially quenched chiral perturbation theory. Perturbing about the chiral limit of the graded flavor group of partially quenched QCD, we compute the leading one-loop contributions to the octet-baryon masses, magnetic moments and matrix elements of isovector twist-2 operators. We work in the isospin limit and keep two of the three sea quarks degenerate. The usefulness of the non-unique extension of the electric charge matrix and the isovector twist-2 operators from QCD to partially quenched QCD is discussed.
