Abstract
On two occasions a patient suffering from acute intermittent porphyria (AIP) was anaesthetized with propofol as the sole agent. The concentrations of urinary porphobilinogen. porphyrins and porphyrin precursors did not exceed preoperative values, and no exacerbation of the disease was noted.Keywords
