Spin dynamics in mesoscopic size magnetic systems:AHtNMR1study in rings of iron (III) ions

Abstract
Two magnetic molecular clusters containing almost coplanar rings of iron (III) ions with spin S=5/2 have been investigated by H1 NMR and relaxation measurements. The first system, which will be referred to as Fe6, is a molecule of general formula [NaFe6(OCH3 )12(C17 O4 H15 )6 ]+ ClO4 or [NaFe6(OCH3 )12(C15 H11 O2 )6 ]+ ClO4 or [LiFe6(OCH3 )12(C15 H11 O2 )6 ]+ ClO4 while the second type of ring, denoted Fe10, corresponds to the molecule [Fe10(OCH3 )20(C2 H2
