Measurement of the branching fraction of $J / \vec{ψ} π^{+} π^{-} π^{0}$

Abstract

Using 58 million

J / ψ

and 14 million

ψ (2 S)

decays obtained by the BES II experiment, the branching fraction of

J / \vec{ψ} π^{+} π^{-} π^{0}

is determined. The result is

(2.10 \pm 0.12) \times 10^{- 2},

which is significantly higher than previous measurements.
