Abstract
Summary: The ichnogeneric status of trilobite furrows (Cruziana) and resting excavations (Rusophycus) is discussed and the suggestion (Seilacher, 1970) that these two distinct types of trace should be united under the genus Cruziana is rejected.Keywords
