Abstract
This Medical Psychology Forum deals with the response of a patient to the symptoms of myocardial infarction, to hospitalization and convalescence. The problem of delay is examined in the prehospital phase of the illness. The assessment of anxiety and depression in the CCU is discussed as is the role of denial.Keywords
