Transient Facial Myokymia

Abstract
Two patients had transient facial myokymia and their course was compatible with multiple sclerosis. Facial myokymia is usually associated with multiple sclerosis and less frequently with intramedullary tumors. When occurring in multiple sclerosis the facial myokymia is transient and unassociated with significant facial weakness. When associated with intramedullary tumors it is often accompanied by significant facial weakness and may persist for long periods of time.
