Abstract
Errors in the microwave diagnostics of plasmas were investigated with the use of dielectric and conducting models. The results indicate that plasma property measurements utilizing reflection and transmission techniques are in considerable error for small samples and also that a planar analysis may not be used to infer the properties of a cylindrical plasma. This publication has 3 references indexed in Scilit:
