Abstract
For differential staining of 3 types of endocrine cells (A, B and D) in a pancreatic islet, Grimelius'' silver nitrate stain is used for A cell, Gomori''s aldehyde-fuchsin stain for B cell and lead-hematoxylin stain for D cell. The stains give different colors to each cell type, and the techniques applied are simple and reliable. The staining sequences for preparing a triply stained [human] pancreatic section are described. This publication has 1 reference indexed in Scilit:
